Mrs. Betty Jo Bechtel, age 67 of Quebeck, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN.
Mrs. Bechtel was born March 23, 1943 in Coal City, West Virginia to Robert Lee and Sadie Jane Bolen Maxwell.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Everett Maxwell.
She was retired from N H C of Sparta. Also she was a member of the Praise Restoration Center.
Survivors include loving husband of 49 years Clifford K. "Cliff" Bechtel of Quebeck, Daughter Kelly Curtis and husband Kevin of Sparta, sons Clifford Arthur Bechtel and wife Desire of Smithville and Ronnie Lee Bechtel of Quebeck, sisters Ruth Lee of Quebeck, Joy Prater of McMinnville and Janice Crawford of Quebeck, grandchildren Devin Jerido, Daylan Curtis, Clifford Steven Bechtel, Brittany Robinson and Jeremy Lee Bechtel, great grandchildren, Austin Robinson, McKinlee Robinson, Braedon Bechtel and Katie Bechtel.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 27, 2010, at Thurman Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M. Officiating will be Pastor J. C. Allen and Pastor Dennis Barrier. Interment will follow in the Old Bethel Cemetery. Pallbearers are Devin Jerido, Steven Bechtel, Everett Crawford, Jason Prater, Matthew Williams and Trad Prater.
