Mr. Bedford (Junior) Stanton Taylor, Jr., age 65, of Sparta, TN, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 at NHC of Sparta.
Mr. Taylor was born in Sparta, TN on April 28, 1948 and was the son of Bedford Stanton Taylor, Sr. and Euna Lee Jones Taylor.
Preceded in death by parents, infant sister Mattie Taylor; brothers, Robert Taylor, William “Buddy” Taylor, Edward Taylor; mother and father-in-law, Verd and Eula Bumbalough; sister in law, Rozell Jernigan; brothers-in-law, Greg Marshall, Tom Madewell, Jim Gardner, Herbert Mabe, Charles England and Bill Presley.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Doris Bumbalough Taylor; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Cherri Taylor and Brian and Rachel Taylor; 3 three grandsons, Austin, Brandon and James Taylor; sister, Jenny Mae Presley, Reba Profitt, Anna Brown, Mary Cox and Christine Clark; brother, Jerry (Larrose) Taylor; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
ARRANGEMETS:
Funeral services will be held at Thurman Funeral Home, Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 2 p.m., officiating will be Bro. James Rittenberry. Interment Plainview Cemetery, River Road.
Family will receive friends Thurman Funeral Home, Monday, March 17, 2014 at 5 p.m. till 8 p.m.
