Barbara Faye Robinson

Barbara Faye Robinson, age 70, of Sparta, TN, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Overton County Health and Rehab Center due to complications from Alzheimer's Disease and COPD. Born on September 26, 1954, in Dayton, OH, to Willie “Bee” Tipton and Alma Tipton, Barbara lived a life full of love and resilience.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her devoted husband, Freeling Odell Robinson, with whom she shared many cherished memories in Sparta, TN.

She leaves behind her two sons, Jodie Lee Hickle and his wife Marisa of Livingston, TN, and Justin Odell Robinson of Massena, NY. Her granddaughter, Jody Leanne Hickle of Livingston, TN, was the light of her life, and her beloved Shih Tzu, Oliver, brought her endless joy.

Barbara is also survived by her brother, Gary Randol Tipton, and her two sisters, Patricia Sue Doyle and Martha Jo Pettit, along with her husband Bradley. Her family, including several nieces and nephews, and many special friends, will forever remember her warmth and strength.

Barbara was a pillar of strength and hard work, facing life's challenges with grace and determination. Her spirit touched everyone she met, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Clouse Cemetery, also known as Upper Board Valley Cemetery, in Cookeville, TN. A graveside funeral service will be held with immediate family, honoring the love and legacy she leaves behind.
